Bihar health dept to probe man’s claim of getting Covid jabs 11 times

 Madhepura: A 84-year-elderly person, occupant of the Puraini area of Madhepura locale in Bihar guaranteed that he has gotten 11 portions of COVID-19 antibody up to this point.

 

State wellbeing office authorities have said that they have sent off a test into the matter.

Mandal, who professes to have noted down the date and season of each of the 11 hits, said he went after Puraini PHC on February 13, 2021. By September 24, he professed to have taken the antibody multiple times and that on January 4 this year he had taken his most recent hit.

 

 “I took the third punch on May 19, fourth on 16 June and fifth on July 24 and the 10th hit from SDH Kehalgaon. I have gotten 11 COVID-19 immunizations up until this point,” asserted Mandal adding that he had not become sick since he began getting vaccinated.

 

Dr Amarendra Pratap Shahi, Civil Surgeon, Madhepura, told ANI, “Regardless of whether his cases are valid or bogus involves examination. We will check the clinic records and make a move against the people engaged with the matter on the off chance that his cases are viewed as evident. CoWIN doesn’t permit different enlistments utilizing a similar Aadhaar number. We have started an examination concerning the matter.”

Vikas Sheel, Additional Secretary and Mission Director, National Health Mission, reacting to the issue said “just a single individual name Brahmdeo Mandal and age 85 has immunized, that too with a remarkable aadhaar no”. He added that Co-WIN doesn’t permit numerous recipients on a similar ID.
