Nancy Pelosi Says Xi Jinping Reacted To Taiwan Visit "Like A Scared Bully"

DPR Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that members of the congress would not be intimidated by China’s reaction to his visit to Taiwan and that Chinese President Xi Jinping acted “like a frightened disturbing.”
Just because Xi “has his own insecurity, does not mean that I will ask him to do my schedule for members of the congress,” Pelosi said on Tuesday at the “Today” event.

In a separate performance in the MSNBC program “Morning Joe”, Pelosi said China could not control the schedule of congress members, and, “We will not be an accomplice to Taiwan isolation.”

“I think he is in a fragile place,” Pelosi said, referring to the Chinese economy. “He acts like a frightened nuisance.”

Pelosi’s Stop in Taiwan Last Week While in the Asia-Pacific Region Drew A Strong Response from China, which conducted military exercises designed to demonstrate its abilities to encircle the island and launching missiles area.

Pelosi said his journey was intended to strengthen the focus of President Joe Biden in the region, even though the White House had repeatedly said the decision to go was the speaker of the DPR alone.
