Row over Yogi Adityanath’s jibe at Kashmir, Bengal, Kerala

Comments Minister Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adtityanath that there is no need for a lot of time for U.P. To become Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal or Kerala if the voter made a mistake, triggered a political storm on Thursday, drew a sharp reaction from the former Head of Congress Rahul Gandhi and the Chairman of the Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan.

 

Mr. Gandhi, who represented Kerala’s seat Wayanad Lok Sabha, a tweet to say that the spirit of India, representing the unity of state, human, culture, language and diversity they should not be “insulted”.

 

Mr. Vijayan tweeted to say that if you. Switch to Kerala, it will not only enjoy better education, health services and living standards but also have a society where “people will not be killed in the name of religion and caste”.

 

Head of West Bengal Bengala Mamata Banarjee, who has campaigned for the Alliance led by the leader of the Jamajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav at U.P., does not specifically react to comments but confirms that the government has done more than U.P. and question the credentials of Mr. Adyitynath becomes sadhu (Seer).

Former Chief Minister and National Conference Leader Omar Abdullah also tweeted to claim that J & K has less poverty, a better human development index, less evil and a better standard of living than u.p.

The debate involving various countries came only a few days after Mr. Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had exchanged sharp words in parliament for the central approach to America. In a later statement, Mr Vijayan showed how his country led the country in most development indicators, including education, health, sanitation, religious harmony, life expectancy, gender equality, income, and social security. These achievements have been validated by the center and various agencies in its survey. Among the various indices, the country was found to have at least poverty with Niti Aayog in a multi-dimensional poverty index of 2020-21. Opposition leader in the Kerala Assembly and Congress leader, V.D. Sathean, also appealed to voters from U.P. For sound and “choose plurality, harmony, inclusive development for medieval fanaticism”.

 

In Tweet, Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor said U.P. Will be “very lucky” if it gets “the beauty of Kashmir, Bengal culture and Kerala’s education”.

 

“Stop dividing our people on the basis of territory & religion just because you have no achievement asking for people,” Tweeted Congress Secretary of K. C. Venugopal.

Attacked, Kerala BJP K. Surendran claims Mr. views Adityanath is a comment on alleged misgovernance that affects Kerala’s growth, and questioned why the chairman of Vijayan’s Minister flew to the US for temporary treatment bragging state achievement in various sectors, including health. BJP also accused the government of Kerala adopted a gentle attitude towards extremist elements and failed miserably to control the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
