New Delhi: Charanjit Singh Channi is the alleged Minister of Congress in Punjab, Rahul Gandhi announced on Sunday afternoon, with Navjot Sidhu sneaking out of the contested race for the top work but not before producing a guarantee that he would have an important role in governing. Country if the government is re-elected.

Immediately after the announcement, Mr. Channi, who was also the head of the First Minister of State, was seen touching Mr. Sidhu’s feet.

Then Kodak’s moment came, Mr. Sidhu, the head of the Punjab Congress, entertained the alleged minister’s head by raising his hand in excitement – like the referee raised the hands of a boxer who won after the final round.

After that, the three leaders – Rahul Gandhi, Navjot Sidhu, Chararjit Channi – are a hug group. And then in a large performance, they raised their hands in the air, ending the week of speculation about the dispute at the party and sending a solidarity message.

“Sidhu Ji, Jo Tusi because of Chahte Ho, Tusi Karoge (whatever you want to do, you will do it). Your model will be implemented,” said Mr Channi in his first comment after accepting responsibility.

Underpointing that Congress has a “system to develop a leader”, Rahul Gandhi gives his own example in what is seen as a message to Mr Sidhu, who joins the party right above the 2017 poll, after 13 years in BJP.

“Channi is a son of a poor family. He knows poverty. Do you see pride in him? He went and met the people … Channi was the voice of the poor,” Gandhi said the name Channi.

Mr. Sidhu, who in his speech, stated that he had “already agreed with the decision of Rahul Gandhi,” said, “Even if you do not give me the power of decision making, still I will support the chairman of the next minister.”

But there is a driver. While insisting that he was just looking for the welfare of Punjab, Mr. Sidhu said, “Don’t treat me like an exhibition”.
