Commenting on the Omicron Community Spread, Dr. Naresh Gupta, Professor of Director of Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, said that around 70% of omicron patients without symptoms and with high transmission of variants, it would spread like fire so entered the community because you would not know whether the next person Infected.
What is the community spread?
SARS-COV-2 generally spread from people to people through droplets, aerosols or through touch. Tracing contact is the process of tracking this transmission chain and also to stop the chain from continuing further by qualifying people who might come in the chain. When the chain cannot be determined because the virus is widespread, it is called the spread of the community. This means that the virus circulates in the community and anyone can get an infection.
