Why J&K's Proposed Delimitation Is Being Viewed as Unfair to Kashmir

He said the commission has asked them (MPs) to react to the proposition by December 31. “This proposition is inadmissible to us as Kashmir merits a larger number of seats than Jammu according to populace,” he said.

The proposition would take the quantity of gathering seats in Jammu to 43 from existing the 37, and to 47 in Kashmir from 46.
