Rohini court explosion: Police arrest DRDO scientist for planting explosive to kill neighbour

 NEW DELHI: Officials said on Saturday that a 47-year-old DRDO researcher had been captured regarding the low-force blast that happened inside the Rohini locale court recently.

On December 9, a blast happened inside court 102, harming one individual.

The blamed has been distinguished as Bharat Bhushan Kataria, a senior researcher with the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), as per sources.

He was captured on Friday.

Kataria had established the touchy in a tiffin box inside the court as he needed to kill his neighbor, who is a supporter, police said.

As per Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana, the charged entered the court at 9.33 am upon the arrival of the episode with two sacks, one of which he left behind inside the court. He left the court premises at 10.35 am.

“Both the gatherings had stopped a few bodies of evidence against one another. They are neighbors and live in a similar structure. By all appearances, it appears Kataria had resentment against the attorney,” said a senior cop.
