London: Russia does not have the moral right to sit in a group of 20 countries while continuing to press with the invasion of Ukraine, a spokesman for the British Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
“Russia has no moral right to sit in the G20 while her aggressions in Ukraine remain,” said the spokesman.
“We welcome Indonesia’s efforts to ensure that the impact of the Russian War was considered in the G20 meeting, as well as an indication that Ukraine could be represented by the President (Volodymyr) Zelenskiy at the G20 Leader Summit.”
Indonesia will host the Summit in November and say that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will be present.
