BHOPAL: The human remaining parts of Group Captain Varun Singh were brought to the Bhopal Airport on Thursday, 16 December. Varun Singh was the last one standing of the Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper crash, however surrendered to his wounds on Wednesday, 15 December.
At Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj air terminal, military authorities and political pioneers honored the late skipper.
Singh endured wounds when a Mi17V5 helicopter smashed close to Coonoor in Tamil Nadu on December 8 in which 14 individuals, including Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and his better half, were killed.
He was going through treatment at Wellington’s Military Hospital and was subsequently moved to Air Force Command Hospital in Bengaluru where he died on Wednesday. His human remaining parts were transported to Bhopal today.
